Day 1:  Kigali – Akagera National Park

The day starts with a meet for a quick briefing at your hotel of residence in Kigali or upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport. Proceed towards East of Rwanda to Akagera National Park. Notable plains game includes elephant, buffalo, topis, zebra, waterbuck, roan antelope and eland. Other antelope are duiker, oribi, bohor reedbuck, klipspringer, bushbuck and impala. Arriving and as you check in take a mini game safari for wildlife viewing and photograph. 
Overnight and dinner at the preferred lodge

Day 2: Full Day Akagera National Park – Game Drive & Boat Ride

The day begins very early at 6.30am for breakfast, and start the game drive by 7.00am. It is a great opportunity to catch the early birders and hunters returning to their hideouts. Expect great wildlife sightings including elephants, buffalos, giraffes, gazelles, impalas, lions, baboons, warthogs, bushbucks, topi, oribis, and leopards. After over three hours of great wildlife sightings you shall drive to the lodge for a lunch break.
After the lunch break you shall go for a boat ride on Lake Ihema. The boat ride offers an opportunity for more wildlife sightings, more so the marine animals such as hippos and crocodiles and moreover at a very close but safe range. The lake has also a great concentration of over 500 bird species some of which include the shoebill storks, herons, jacanas, ibis, gonolek among others. Day 3: Akagera National Park – Kigali Out

Wake up for breakfast at 6.30, check out and start a second full game drive by 7.00am. Expect to increase your game count and view lots of other fascinating features that make Akagera National Park. After the game drive we proceed to Kigali city to where you would wish to be dropped off or be transferred back to the Airport for your outbound flight. Meal plan (FB) End of service.
